Mclean Stevenson

Mclean Stevenson was a major part of the ensemble of this showHe told writer Ken Levine that being a small part of an ensemble wasn’t enough. He wanted a project that saw him in a starring role. Levine acquiesced, and Stevenson was written out of the show in the third season’s finale. He went on to appear in sitcoms like The Mclean Stevenson Show, Condo, etc, but he never found the star vehicle he’d been searching for.

Sigourney Weaver

She leaves for a while for another project, but she already hinted a potential return a few years ago.  Director Cameron insisted that instead of  $35,000 for the sequel, he negotiated her salary to $1 million, as well as a share of the profits. Weaver said that she was surprised at how Alien took off. She agreed to a low salary because she thought it was just a “small” film.
