The pair were introduced to each other with comprehensive guidance and observation from the rescuers since the two bears have not been able to contact another bear in a long time. The reason why the rescuers did this is that they want the bears not to be lonely anymore. Will the two bears get along? Especially since the two have not had any interaction in years, it’d be hard to imagine if they would get along!

Tomi and Hope initially approached each other slowly. The rescuers were on standby, prepared to make a move if the two bears got agitated and would break out in a fight. Aware of each other, the pair moved closer to each other in a slow manner. The rescuers were surprised when they noticed that the two started to sniff each other.
